Rev. Jerald Middaugh

Rev. Jerald Middaugh, 73, of Canyon passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. Private graveside services will be held at Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon.

Jerald was born on June 22, 1946 in Phillips, Texas to Paul and Iva Chase Middaugh. He was a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University and has had his ministerial credentials with the Assemblies of God for over 50 years. He was pastor of the First Assembly of God Church in Canyon where he married Janice Townsend on December 29, 1967.

Jerald was passionate about his children and grandchildren. They were the love of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister. Survivors include his wife, Janice of the home; his son, Jerad Middaugh and wife, Felecia of Amarillo; his daughter, Jeanna Lilley and husband, David of Canyon; six grandchildren, Mattisyn Lilley, Taylor Middaugh, Kylor Middaugh, Jeratt Lilley, Koby Middaugh, and Keaten Middaugh; and one brother, Gary Middaugh and wife, Kathy of Fritch.

The family suggests memorials be to the First Assembly of God Church, 2318 13th Avenue, Canyon, Texas 79015.
