Jerald E. Dickey

Jerald E. Dickey, 80, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on January 4, 2022 at Hospice House in Oklahoma City.

Jerald was born on November 19, 1941 in Lamesa to Jessie Everett and Hazel Frances (Barber) Dickey. He was raised in O'donnell, Texas and graduated from O'Donnell High School. He married Mary Frances Blevins on June 4, 1979 and they lived in Odessa where he was a welder and truck driver for many years. In 2019, they moved to Norman, Oklahoma.

Jerald was a kind and gentle man and will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.

Jerald was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather, Vernon Cook, and a brother, Jerry Dickey. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Mary Dickey of Norman, OK; three children; five grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Dickey and wife, Vonda of Weatherford, TX and Royce Dickey and wife, Freda of Fayetville, AR; and a sister-in-law, Pam Dickey of Weatherford.
