Jeanne Tomlinson

Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Redeemer Christian Church in Amarillo with pastor David Ritchie, officiating. Jeanne Tomlinson was born on October 9, 1941 to Bill and Jeraldine Kindrick Marshall in McAlester, OK. She married Rex Tomlinson in Merkel, TX in 1957, and they lived in Lubbock until 2010 when they moved to Canyon. She received a degree from Trinity Bible Institute and was a long time devoted member of Trinity Church in Lubbock. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and taught Bible studies and sang in the choir at Trinity Church. She was a very talented artist and seamstress and a great cook. She would do anything for her family, especially her grandchildren, and never wanted to miss out on the fun. She was a loving wife, mother, Nana, and mother-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Carl Marshall. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Rex Tomlinson, of the home; three children, Regina Muller and husband, Paul, of San Antonio, Lee Tomlinson and wife, Lisa Thomas, of Honolulu, HI, and Monique Bryan and husband, Jim, of Canyon; four grandchildren, Niki Brown and husband, Andrew, of Amarillo; Dusty Bryan, of Canyon, Allie Bryan, of Amarillo, and Eimanie Thomas, of Honolulu, HI; and two sisters, Jo Jo Burnett and husband, Chet, of Bedford, and Berlyn Evans, of Conroe, TX. The family suggests memorials be to Amarillo Area Parkinson's Association, PO Box 19721, Amarillo, TX 79114, the National Kidney Foundation of West Texas, PO Box 51231, Amarillo, TX 79159, or to Integracare Hospice, 2005 S Coulter, Amarillo, TX 79106.
