Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday June 9, 2014 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. Rick Enns, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Canyon, officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Brooks Chapel. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Jaunita L. Warwick was born on February 21, 1924 in Swisher County to Jess and Vivian Foster. She was a graduate of Canyon High School and married Gerald 'Jerry' Warwick on December 8, 1943 in El Centro, CA. He preceded her in death on August 25, 1998. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her flower gardens, yard work, and decorative bead work. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Canyon and Order of the Eastern Star. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Ruth Foster and Christine Rossi. Survivors include two daughters, Ann Warwick, of Canyon and Sandra Leffler, and husband, Bob, of Arlington; and two grandchildren, Emma Elizabeth and Gretchen Abigail Leffler, both of Arlington. The family suggests memorials be to Dreamland Cemetery, PO Box 38, Canyon, TX 79015 or the Canyon Fire Department, PO Box 98, Canyon, TX 79015.
