Jane Forsyth

The burial will be at Dreamland Cemetery. Jane Forsyth, formerly of Happy, Texas, passed quietly from this life on August 11, 2005. She was living in Denver, Colorado, at the time of her death. Born in Ira, Texas, in 1920, she was one of six children born to Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Falls. Jane met and later married Ross Forsyth while attending West Texas State Teachers College in Canyon. Jane moved with Ross to Happy, Texas in 1946 and later began her teaching career in the public school system there. A member of the First Baptist church until she moved to Denver, Jane now returns to the friends and community that she loved and was a part of for many years. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Ross, a son William Roy, who died in infancy, and her sister Ethel Verle Young. Survivors include her sister, Georgene Galloway;3 brothers W.T. Falls, J.E. Falls Jr., Joe Falls; 2 sons Doug Forsyth and Tom Forsyth; and 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be made to First Baptist Church in Happy.
