Jan Wieck

Jan Mulloy Wieck, 76, of Canyon, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020.

Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Brooks Chapel. Graveside services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, December 24 at Dreamland Cemetery.

Jan Mulloy Wieck was born on September 3, 1944 in Dimmitt, Texas to William and Frances Stork Gerber. She graduated from Umbarger High School in 1963. On July 23, 1966, she married Patrick H. Mulloy at St. Mary's in Umbarger. He preceded her in death in 1990.

Jan married Larry J. Wieck on June 14, 2007 in Clayton, New Mexico.

She was selfless, loving, and kind. She was also a great cook. Anything you wanted she could make. Her grandchildren were her heart and soul.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Patrick H. Mulloy III, parents, William and Frances Gerber and two brothers, Tom and Billy Gerber.

Survivors include her husband, Larry J. Wieck; son, John Mulloy and wife Chas of Prosper; two daughters, Anne Skalsky of Canyon and Kathy Unruh and husband Trent of Ft. Worth; ten grandchildren, Matthew, Heather, John, Bryce, Austin, Hannah, Will, Ellie, Jack and Olivia; seven siblings, Romilda Friemel of Hereford, Don Gerber and wife Theresa of Amarillo, Carolyn Wieck and husband Jim of Dalhart, Glenn Gerber and wife Vickie of Amarillo, Sharon Gerber of Umbarger, Linda Moore and husband Kenneth of Georgetown, Kenneth Gerber and wife Terrie of Dalhart; and numerous nieces and nephews.
