Jake Lindsey

Services will be 4:00 P.M. Thursday, January 14 at Brooks Chapel with Dale Westbrook, pastor of New Fellowship Baptist Church, officiating. Jake L. Lindsey was born May 13, 1970 in Amarillo, Texas to Jimmy Lindsey and Lucille Frick. Jake attended Canyon schools. He worked as a carpenter, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and dune buggying. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim, on December 26, 2009; two of his grandfathers; and his great grandparents. Survivors include two daughters, Rachel Lindsey and Sara Lindsey, both of Canyon; mother, Lucille Lindsey, of Amarillo; two sisters, Jennie Palmer and husband, Michael, of Amarillo, Chrystal Hunton and husband, Sean, of Canyon; brother, Russell Lindsey and wife, Terri, of Arkansas; two grandmothers, Freda Frick and Betty Lindsey, both of Canyon.
