Jackie Pyle

Jackie Pyle, 69, of Happy, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 in Happy.  Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Happy Community Center with Rev. Tom Stribling, pastor of Happy United Methodist Church, officiating.  Private interment will be in Happy Cemetery.  Viewing will be in Happy's Memorial Chapel. Jackie Pyle was born on November 21, 1947 in Kress to Chester and Dorothy Pyle.  He graduated from Happy High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War.  He owned and operated J & J Oil Company for many years.  Jackie loved to fish and was an avid supporter of everything in Happy.  He was very active in the community and was a friend to everyone. Jackie was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Karen Sue Pyle.  Survivors include one sister, Patsy Penwell and a niece, Misty Penwell, both of Irving; two aunts, Wanda Hodges of Plainview and Clara Mahan of Arlington; and several cousins. The family suggests memorials to Happy EMS, PO Box 216, Happy, Texas 79042 or a favorite charity.
