Jackie King Hatcher, 93, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on February 27, 2021.
Jackie was born on August 11, 1927 in Comanche, Texas to Thomas and Kathleen King. After graduating from Comanche High School, she attended Denton Women's College. She married Robert Thomas Hatcher in Odessa and they made their first home in Big Spring.
Jackie spent several years as a homemaker. She then joined the medical field at Odessa Medical Center, and later became the office manager for Dr. Meek and Dr. Manicum in Odessa.
After retiring, Jackie volunteered for Catholic Charities of Odessa, and was active in St. Mary's Church. She loved gardening and spending time with her many friends. She also enjoyed traveling to visit her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Gale King of Comanche, and Jimmy King of Amarillo.
Survivors include her children, Diane Kucharski and husband Richard, of Hudsonville, MI, Steve Hatcher and wife, Kathy of Memphis, TN, and Chris Hatcher and wife Karla, of Amarillo; grandchildren, Melissa, Thomas, Mallory, Leah, and Matthew; great-grandson, (Sam) Thomas; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family suggest memorials be made to your favorite charity.
