Jackie Edwards

Jackie Charles Edwards, 63, of Canyon died Saturday, November 18, 2017.  Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Brooks Chapel.  Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors.  Jackie was born on December 12, 1953 in Amarillo to Charles and Molly Sue Edmonds Edwards.  He graduated from Canyon High School in 1972 and was a Master Mechanic for over forty years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepdad, Dee Cawthon, three brothers, Jerry Don Edwards, Bobby Dean Edwards, and Kim Cawthon, a sister, Cindy Henson, and an uncle, Elmo Edwards. Jackie is survived by three sons, Allen and wife, Jackie, Jeromie, and Brandon; one sister, Lynnda Baldwin and husband, Johnny; two brothers, Deward Cawthon and wife, Sally and Homer Cawthon and wife, Paula; five grandchildren, Donovahn, Sereina, Zachary, Landry, and Liam; special friends, Carl and Lynn Wilson; and numerous cousins. The family suggests memorials be to the Happy Cemetery Association, PO Box 343, Happy, TX 79042.
