Jacki Faye Morgan, 73, of Canyon, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Jacki was born on May 5, 1951 in Nashville, Tennessee to Jess and Velma (Moore) Pearce. She grew up in Canyon and was a graduate of Canyon High School. She received her Bachelor of Education from West Texas State University (now WTAMU) and taught 5th and 6th grade in CISD for many years.
Jacki loved gardening, adored her dog, Tazer, and cherished time with her granddaughter, Tiffinie, who brought her great joy when she would come to spend the night with her.
Jacki is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Tiffini.
Survivors include her son, Shawn Pearson of Amarillo; her granddaughter, Tiffinie Pearson of Amarillo; and three step grandchildren, Makayla Mann of Amarillo, Chaceten Evans of Amarillo, and Katie Raizola of Oklahoma.
