Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 22, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church, with Pastor Donna Johnston, Pastoral Care, First United Methodist Church, officiating. Isabel H. Van Dyke was born on July 17, 1936 to Bette and Edward Ross in Dornoch, Scotland. She was a certified Nurse and Midwife through the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. She married her husband, Bobby, on August 8, 1968 in Las Vegas and became a citizen in 1976. She worked as a nurse at North West Texas Hospital and served on Olivia"s Angels Board at BSA Hospice. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, Agnes Ross, and husband, Bobby. Survivors include her daughter, Maureen Martin and husband, Dave, of Canadian, TX; sisters, Jan Ross, of Edinburgh, Scotland, Meredith Duncan and Caroline McMahon, of Vancouver, Canada; grandson, Colin Martin, of Canadian; sisters-in-laws, Oneta Reeves, of Willcox, AZ, Juanita Mayo, of Tuscan, AZ, and Yvonne Van Dyke, of Pheonix, AZ; niece and nephew, Charles and Sue Reeves, of Tuscan, AZ; special friends, John and Judy, Shelby and Caleb Schnatz, of Amarillo, and Julianna and Larry Fulton, of Bushland; and Pennie, Pete, Madison, and Skylar Bowles, of Amarillo. The family suggests memorials be to Olivia"s Angels in care of BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176.
