Hermion Mcneill

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at the University Church of Christ in Canyon with Dr. David Lough, minister, and Brad Thompson, minister at Southwest Church of Christ in Amarillo, officiating. There will be a private burial in the McNeill family cemetery. Hermion Cecilia Pierce McNeill was born on April 12, 1951 in Quanah, Texas. She graduated from Quanah High School in 1969. She attended Lubbock Christian University where she met a dashing pilot, Dudley McNeill. They were married on June 4, 1971. She received her Bachelors in English from West Texas State University in 1973. They lived in the Wayside Community and were members of the University Church of Christ in Canyon. She was a homemaker, devoted mother and loving wife. She was dear to many hearts. Survivors include her husband, Dudley McNeill, of Happy; one son, Todd McNeill and wife, Mary, of Fayetteville, AR; two daughters, Amber Weems and husband, Taylor, and Hannah McNeill, both of Amarillo; one sister, Evon Wruble and husband, Rudy, of Canyon; her mother, Oleta Pierce, of Canyon; and two grandchildren, Kathryn and Ethan McNeill, of Fayetteville, AR. The family requests memorials be to the Youth Fund at the University Church of Christ, 3400 Conner Dr., Canyon, Texas 79015.
