Helen Edwards Melugin

Helen Edwards Melugin passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026. No services are scheduled at this time. 

Helen was born on December 14,1939 in Hereford Texas to D.Y. and Edna Edwards. She married Bill Melugin on May 29, 1959 and they raised their family in Hereford.

They were married for 58 years until Bill's death in 2017. They later moved to Amarillo, Texas and then on to Knoxville, Tennessee, until their return to Amarillo in 2016. She was a stay-at-home Mom.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bill, her parents and her six siblings. 

Survivors include three sons, Tony and wife Mary Ann, Terry and wife Rhonda, and Bryan and wife Cami. one daughter, Debra White and husband Jerry; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the loving staff at the Hudson House in Canyon for the wonderful care they gave to Helen over the last six years.
