Helen Bradsher

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 19 at Brooks Chapel with Larry Richardson, officiating. Interment will be at Dreamland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 18 at Brooks Chapel. Helen Faye Bradsher was born March 8, 1929 in Webb, Mississippi to Wesley E. and Lida Burk Yarbrough. She moved from Mississippi to Canyon in 1956. She worked as a waitress for many years and also as a cook at WT and for CISD. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Canyon. Helen loved fishing, gardening, ceramics, and family reunions. She took great pride in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tammy Canaday; and numerous brothers and sisters. Survivors include her five children, Nadine Miller and husband, Jerry, of Amarillo, Alec Gordon and wife, Sharon, of Plainview, Debbie Fisher, of Amarillo, Billie Anne Smith and husband, Billy, of Canyon, Amy Gordon, of Canyon; two sisters, Ruby Criddle, of Canyon, Billie Aven, of Drew, Mississippi; twelve grandchildren; and twenty five great grandchildren.
