Harriett Jane Hutchison, 92, passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020, in Amarillo.

Mrs. Hutchison was born Nov 18, 1927, in Eldorado, Kansas, to Frances and Ethal Lehr. She began work at a young age as a secretary in Washington DC during World War II. After moving to Spearman in 1957 she was an office manager, and then one of the first women in Texas to manage a grain elevator in Hansford county.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Ethal Lehr, her sister Frances Marshal, and two brothers, Harold Lehr, and Marion Lehr, and two husbands, Kenneth Shufeldt Sr. and Craig Hutchison.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Shufeldt Jr. of Amarillo and Hal Shufeldt of Spearman; a daughter, Sandra Brent of Canyon; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
