Gregg Williams

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 22 at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor David Crump, officiating. Interment is at Dreamland Cemetery. Gregg Williams was born August 3, 1962 to Donald and Nancy Williams in Lynn County, Texas. Gregg graduated from Tahoka High School in Tahoka, Texas, where he was born and raised. He also graduated from Amarillo College with a degree in electronics. On March 12, 1983 he married Cherie Brown at Stratford, Texas. Gregg was an employee of Affiliated Foods for 24 years and was the 2007 Employee of the Year. He was a volunteer for the Boy Scouts and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Gregg loved hunting, fishing, camping, and farming. He was preceded in death by a son, Luke Williams, and his father, Donald Williams. Survivors include his wife, Cherie Williams, of the home; daughter, Candice Chadwick and husband, Dave, of Canyon; son, Clayton Williams, of Canyon; mother, Nancy Williams, of Tahoka, Texas; two brothers, Keith Williams and wife, Janeece, of Post, Texas, Ricky Williams and wife, Lorissa, of Canyon; and grandson, Keyan Chadwick, of Canyon. The family suggests that memorials be made to the Boy Scouts of America, 401 Tascosa Road, Amarillo, TX 79124.
