Glennewyn Johnson Tomblin

Glennewyn Mary Lovella Johnson Tomblin, 34, of Happy, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the First Baptist Church of Happy with Rick Bloodworth officiating. Glennewyn was born on April 13, 1990 in Tulia to Kelly and Glennewyn (Benson) Tomblin. She received her Medical Assistant certification from Vista College in Amarillo and her CNN through Claude Nursing Home while working there. She also enjoyed working at the Ussery Roan Texas State Veterans Home and was currently working at Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital. She thoroughly loved her work and all the people and residents that she worked with. She also worked at Wendy's in Canyon in addition to working at the nursing homes. Glennewyn was a devoted mother. She was their biggest fan and supporter in all their athletic games, and her favorite pastime was movie nights, surrounded by her children with Moana on replay. She loved rainy days and thunderstorms and spending vacations with her children, particularly on the beaches of Alabama. She was a huge NFL fan and especially enjoyed the New England Patriots, most specifically Tom Brady. She dearly loved her family but equally enjoyed playfully harassing them. Glennewyn is preceded in death by her grandparents, Eddie and Melba Behrends and her father, Kelly Tomblin. Survivors include her five children, Christopher Lee Tomblin, Brady Lane Johnson, Dakota Nevaeh Alexis Johnson, Jaime Elizabeth Johnson, and Dallas Austin Johnson; her fiancé, Christopher Paul Moreno; mother, Glennewyn Tomblin; and seven siblings, LaTonya Croxdale and fiancé, Zack Dugan, Randy Phillips and wife, Shelly, Marcy Cloud and husband, Matt, Amanda Phillips, Stephanie Oatman, Kelly Tomblin, and Jesse Tomblin and wife, Leah.
