Glenn Collier

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at the University Church of Christ in Canyon, with Brent Adams, minister, Southwest Church of Christ, and Brad Thompson, Family Life Minister, Southwest Church of Christ, officiating. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Chillicothe Cemetery, Chillicothe, Texas. Glenn Dale Collier, Jr. was born on September 28, 1942 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Cornelia Ann Worley and Glenn Dale Collier, Sr. He graduated from Lovington High School in New Mexico and attended Arkansas State University. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force where he was stationed in Omaha, Nebraska and Africa. He was a police officer, badge # 2579, in Dallas for twenty years, retiring in 1988. Survivors include his wife, Sharla Marie Feldhaus Collier, of Amarillo; a daughter, Melissa Marie Collier Whitaker and husband, Jeffery Todd, of Lubbock; his mother, Cornelia Ann Worley Collier, of Batesville, AR; a brother, David Worley Collier, of Batesville, AR; and a nephew, Shawn Blake. The family suggests memorials be to the High Plains Children"s Home, PO Box 7448, Amarillo, Texas 79114.
