Glen Hix

Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Lefors Memorial Heights Cemetery in Lefors, Texas with Pastor Jack Maddox, pastor of First Baptist Church of Post, officiating. Glen W. Hix was born on March 1, 1949 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Ralph and Lola Chaudoin Hix. He was a Vietnam Veteran in the U.S. Navy and then worked for twenty-seven years in the oil fields in the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandle. Glen was a big fan of John Wayne, Elvis, and 1960's music. Survivors include his parents, Ralph and Lola Hix; two daughters, Christy Peevy and husband, John and Jenny Redinger and husband, Michael; a son, John Hix and wife, Dalinda; a brother, Jim Hix and wife, Judy; six grandchildren; and two nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Ussery Roan Texas State Veterans Home, 1020 Tascosa Road, Amarillo, TX 79106, the Hudson House, 3210 Russell Long Blvd., Canyon, TX 79015, or a favorite charity.
