Gladys Null, 92, of Happy, died Monday, November 11, 2002. Services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. Lance Wood, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Miami, officiating and assisting, Chad Horton, Director of Pastoral Care, Bivins Foundation. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Gladys Null was born March 19, 1910 to John and Pearl Stovall Kemper in Wheeler County. She graduated from Tulia High School in 1930. She attended Wayland Baptist College. She married George Russell Null December 1933. They lived and farmed near Friona, Wheeler, Wellington, Tulia and Happy. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Null; son, Albert Null; Parents, John and Pearl Kemper; two brothers, Marvin and Ray Kemper and one sister, Vera Auippa. Family wishes to extend a special thanks to all the wonderful caring people at Bivins Memorial Nursing Home and Crown of Texas Hospice. Survivors include, one daughter, Effie Harle and husband, Bill, of Vega; two sisters, Theresa and husband, Clarence Wilson, of Amarillo and Opal Bice, of Tulia; five grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and twenty nine nieces and nephews. Memorials can be sent to Mary E. Bivins Foundation, 905 S. Fillmore St., Amarillo, TX 79101; Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson, Amarillo, TX 79101; and/or Girl Scouts High Plains Council, 6011 W. 45th Ave, Amarillo, TX 79109.
