Ginger Crump

Ginger Carol Crump, 77, of Canyon, passed away on August 23, 2025. Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Canyon with Rev. Steve Olsen officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, August 29, 2025 at Brooks Chapel. Ginger was born on September 22, 1947 to Earl and Gloria Crump. As a long-time resident of Canyon, Texas, Ginger graduated from Canyon High School and went on to earn her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from West Texas State University in 1970. While attending WT, she was involved with the Baptist Student Union, remaining in touch with many of those friends through reunions and correspondence. She was also a member of the WT Alumni Association's Phoenix Club and served as treasurer and president of the Association's Board of Directors. Ginger was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Canyon and a member of the Rotary Club. She was also a faithful fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Ginger retired after many years of service as a bank officer at a local branch of Canyon Bank. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
