Gerald Boehning

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 21, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Canyon with Mike Kuhlman officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Gerald Leonard Boehning was born on April 28, 1939 in Canyon to Leonard and Ruby Boehning. He served in the National Guard and in his early years was a dairyman with his father. He then began farming and was involved in many phases of agriculture for years. He also enjoyed raising cattle, rebuilding and collecting antique tractors, and spending time with his grandchildren. Gerald was preceded in death by his sister, Arlene, his daughter, Patti Leigh, and a grandson, Nicholas. Survivors include four sons, Mark Boehning and wife, Valerie of Canyon, Gary Boehning, Brian Boehning and wife, Tiffany, and Jeff Boehning and wife, Tisha all of Muleshoe; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Delbert Boehning and wife, Bonnie of Minnesota and Ronald 'Butch' Boehning and wife, Almeda of Canyon.
