George Gidden

Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 1 at Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon with Rev. John McClean, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Canyon, officiating. George Gidden was born March 12, 1922 in Tulia, Texas to Will and Frances Herron Gidden. George served in the US Army during WWII. George was the beloved father of Georgia Rutherford, of Amarillo, Tish Whitfill, of Perry, FL, Dwayne Gidden, of Amarillo, Harold Gidden, of Ft. Worth, Donna Kitchens, of Euless, Rocky Gidden, of Bedford, and Skip Gidden, of Bedford. George is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and a brother, Joe Gidden, of Canyon.
