George Copley

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 20 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. Robert E. Field officiating. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo. George R. Copley was born April 15, 1922 to William and Lucy Morgan Copley in Denver, Colorado. He retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years of service. George received the American Service Medal, the World War II Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal while serving in the Air Force. Survivors include a sister, Anna Mae McClellan, of Denver, CO; and a granddaughter, Charity Dillon, of Houston, TX. The family suggests that memorials be made to Skywest Assisted Living Center, 2623 12th Avenue, Canyon, TX 79015.
