Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Happy Cemetery in Happy. Memorial services will follow at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Southlawn Assembly of God, 4300 S. Bowie, Amarillo, TX 79110, with Rev. Jerad Middaugh, pastor, officiating. Gaye Nell was born May 23, 1942 in Crowell to Freddie and Annie Jones Gray. She married Kenneth Ray Bonds on December 15, 1958 in Plainview.Gaye Nell was a member of Dumas First Assembly for 15 years prior to moving to Amarillo and becoming a member of Southlawn Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ray Vance Gray. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Skeet Bonds; two daughters, Darla Griebel and husband, Wayne and Treva Daniels and husband, Kip, both of Amarillo; grandchildren, Joshua Daniels and wife, Jessica, Randi Smith and husband, Zeke, and Craig Griebel and wife, Holly; great grandchildren, Colton, Karson, Ysaiha, Callen and one on the way; and two sisters, LaVada Waters and Thena Edwards. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Southlawn Assembly of God, 4300 S. Bowie, Amarillo, TX 79110. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Southlawn Assembly of God.
