Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, March 14 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. John McClean, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 13 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Brooks Chapel. Frankie Lee Green was born on December 22, 1924 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Daniel and Virley Roper Green. She was raised in Oklahoma and graduated from high school there as well. She was involved with a bible study class at Canyon Country Club, and a member of the Red Hat Club and First United Methodist Church of Canyon. Frankie had a love for many things, especially; entertaining her grandchildren, cooking, gardening, quilting, and her daughter-in-law, Carmel Green. Frankie was loved by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marcella Sue Hester. Survivors include a son, John Rodney Green and wife, Carmel, of Amarillo; a sister, Judy Boyce, of Salt Lake City, Utah; two grandsons, Clint James Hester and wife, Elizabeth, Gary Kyle Hester and wife, Heather; and five great grandchildren.
