Frances Schmidt

FRANCES L. SCHMIDT, 79, of Canyon, died Wednesday, December 25, 2002 in Amarillo, Texas. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 30, 2002 at St. George's Episcopal Church in Canyon with The Rev. William D. Nix, Panhandle Regional Missioner, officiating. There will be a private interment at Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Schmidt was born on October 20, 1923 in Boulder, Colorado to Earl and Agnes Scott Levick. She married Dr. William I. Schmidt in 1954. He preceded her in death on December 25, 1983. She was a homemaker and mother and was a fashion model in the 1940's for Capwell Brothers. She also worked in the ship yards in San Francisco during WWII. She was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church. Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Couzzourt, of Canyon; and two granddaughters, Margaret Frances Couzzourt and Catherine Claire Couzzourt, both of Canyon. The family suggests memorials be to your favorite charity.
