Florine Johnson

Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Brooks Chapel with David Lough, minister of University Church of Christ, officiating. Burial is in Dreamland Cemetery. Florine Johnson was born on January 16, 1921 in Davidson, OK to Theodore and Emma Bailey Sandefur. Florine was a talented artist and homemaker. She loved handcrafts, and she also loved fishing and RVing with her husband, Recil. She was a long time member of the University Church of Christ in Canyon. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 27, 2004. Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Craven, of Mannford, OK, and Karel Watkins, of Savannah, GA; and two grandchildren, Chuck and Beth, of Savannah, GA. The family suggests memorials be sent to High Plains Children"s Home, PO Box 7448, Amarillo, TX 79114.
