Fern Thompson

Graveside Services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at Wayside Cemetery in Wayside, Texas with Jeremy Thompson, grandson, officiating. Fern Thompson was born on November 27, 1926 in Briscoe County to Thomas and Cora Dunlap. She was a longtime resident of Amarillo and had recently moved to Plainview. She was a member of the Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Calhoun, in 1994. Survivors include her two sons, Ralph Thompson, of Bedford, and Roland Jay Thompson, of Fort Collins, CO; and one daughter, Kelly Palmer, of Kress; three sisters, Willie Lee Thomas, of Amarillo, Virginia Noe, of Bremerton, WA, and Juanita Dougan, of Amarillo; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren.
