Evaleen Anderson

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 25, 2008 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. La Von Thompson, pastor of Life of Praise Fellowship of Amarillo, officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo. Evaleen Marie Brittain Anderson was born June 1, 1928 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Charlie and Odell Rives Brittain. She married Raymond C. Anderson on September 20, 1942. They were married 52 years when he passed away July 27, 1994. They were blessed with four children. She was a wonderful care giver for all of her family and friends. She belonged to Life of Praise Fellowship. Evaleen was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles in 1991, Billie and Danny in 1947, a sister, Bettie in 1947, a son, Rodger Allen Anderson in 1983, and a great granddaughter, Kirsten Grace in 2001. Evaleen is survived by her children, Randy Dean Anderson, of Muleshoe, Richard Gene Anderson, of Amarillo, Gayla Raeleen Anderson Lodholm, of Amarillo; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and one on the way; two sisters, Lynn and Gwen, of White Deer; many loving nieces, nephews, and friends; and a very special friend, Jodie, of Muleshoe.
