Eva Kennamer

10:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Brooks Chapel with Bob Shepard, Elder, University Church of Christ, officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:30 P.M. on Thursday, December 2 at Floydada Cemetery, Floydada, Texas. Eva Marie Lewis Kennamer was born on June 10, 1923 in DeSoto, Texas to Willie and Myrtle Lewis. She was a 1942 graduate of Floydada High School. She married Presley Kennamer in Amarillo on December 3, 1945. Eva was a loving wife and the "best helper in the world." She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, George Lock Lewis, John Thomas Lewis, and David Clinton Lewis. Survivors include her husband, Presley Kennamer, of Canyon, and many nieces and nephews.
