Eunice Seay

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Brooks Chapel, with Brent Adams, former minister, University Church of Christ, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, January 18, 2013, at Brooks Chapel. Private Interment will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Eunice N. Seay was born on March 16, 1915 in Hemphill County to Charles N. and Josephine Strawbridge. She married Richard ?Muncy? Seay in 1937. They moved to Canyon in 1949 where they farmed and ranched until 1989. He preceded her in death in 1990. Eunice kept children in her home for forty years. She was a member of the University Church of Christ. She is also preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters and a step daughter, Lillian Jackson. The family wishes to express their love and gratitude to Jody Davis and the many care givers at the Brookhaven Care Home for providing a home and loving care for Eunice these past eight years. Survivors include many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials be to Hospice Care of the Southwest, 6600 Killgore Dr., Suite 110, Amarillo, TX 79106.
