Eudell Prather

Graveside services were held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Marlow Cemetery, Marlow, Oklahoma, with Dr. Joe Ligon officiating. Eudell Prather was born on July 12, 1924 in Danville, Arkansas to William and Susan Hunt Norwood. She married Tom Prather at Chickasha, OK on February 19, 1944. She moved to Canyon from Marlow, Oklahoma in March 1999 and had lived the past year in Friona. She was a retired bookkeeper. Survivors include five nieces, Glenda Wilkerson and Suzan Norwood, both of Canyon, Rebecca Goebel, of Abernathy, Bettie Roberson, of Lakewood, CO, and Sandy Hillary, of Fallon, NV; and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins. The family suggests memorials be to The Heritage Estates, 201 E. 15th St. Friona, TX 79037, or Parmer County Community Hospital, 1307 Cleveland, Friona, TX 79037.
