Services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 7, 2003 Wayside Community Church with Kyle Brock, Methodist Minister, Wayside Community Church, and Rev. Byron Williamson, Baptist Minister, Wayside Community Church, officiating. Burial will be in Wayside Cemetery. Mrs. Rogers was born on August 4, 1933 in Amarillo to Asa and Elsie Patterson Wilcox. She married C. D. Red Rogers in Amarillo in 1961. She was a long time resident of Wayside. She was active in the Wayside Home Demonstration Club, Wayside Community Church, and a member of Ye OleA??? Squares. Estelle was a bookkeeper, homemaker, and was a loving mother and an exceedingly devoted grandmother. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Jean Payton, a granddaughter, Kim Watson, and a grand son-in-law, Chad Smith. Survivors include her husband, C. D. Red Rogers, of Wayside; three sons, Kent Scroggins, of Wayside, Bill Scroggins, of Amarillo, and Bruce Scroggins, of Grandview; two daughters, Kytrena Tuttle, of Spring, and Kiska Reynolds, of Enterprise, Alabama; fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the Wayside Emergency Team, Wayside Cemetery, or the Wayside Community Church.
