Ernie Wilson

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, August 10, 2012 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. Donna Johnston, Pastoral Care Minister, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Brooks Chapel. Ernie Wilson attended Happy High School, was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Happy, TX, and worked at Owens Corning in Amarillo for 24 years before moving to Alamogordo in 2010. Not only did he dearly love his family, but also had a great love for cars. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Wilson in 1997, and his brother, Roger Wilson in 2009. Survivors include his mother, Ferne Hefner; 2 daughters, Jennifer Buckley and Meagan Janis; 2 sons, Randall Wilson and Trenton Wilson; 2 sisters, Vicki Matthews and Johnnie Shimp; and 7 grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to your favorite charity.
