Eric Richard, 38, of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
Memorial services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Lake Tanglewood Community Church with Pastor Jon Kohler officiating.
Eric was born December 17, 1983 in Amarillo, Texas to Sam and Kay (Reid) Richard. He graduated from Canyon High School in 2002 and attended West Texas A&M University. He worked in the maintenance department at Lake Tanglewood.
Eric grew up with a love of music. He was a talented musician who enjoyed playing the bass guitar with his band buddies. He also had a love for the great outdoors. Camping, fishing, and snowboarding were some of his favorite hobbies.
Eric loved spending time with his family, especially his three nephews.
Survivors include his parents, Sam and Kay Richard; sister, Stephanie Rempel and husband, Jake; nephews, Jacoby, Wyatt, and Paxton; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
