Anna was born on December 31, 1947, in Reagan County, Texas to Ysidro and Julia (Ramos) Peña. She was a graduate of Reagan County High School in Big Lake and attended Amarillo College. She was also a personal caregiver in the Canyon and Amarillo area where she made many dear and treasured friends over the years.

Anna was a faithful member of Arden Road Baptist Church and served on the City of Canyon Housing Authority board of directors. She had a passion for crocheting and sewing and her family will fondly remember her love for decorating elaborately for every possible season or occasion.
