Services will be at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon. Graveside services will be at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Luling City Cemetery, Luling, Texas. Ellis Roy Bost passed away peacefully on December 31, 2012. He was born to Jonathan Edward Bost and Ola Edward Henry Bost on October 9, 1929. He served four years as Sargent in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. As an electronic radar technician, he consulted with the federal government in the development of the stealth aircraft. He retired from the Federal Aviation Administration in 1989. Ellis was an avid supporter of WTA&M sports and was ""Parent of the Year"" in 1994. He enjoyed drinking coffee with his friends, ""The Old Geezers."" He will be remembered as an intelligent and kindhearted gentleman. He is preceded in death by an infant, his parents, his sisters, Catherine Moore and Louise Burditt, and his brothers, J. D. Bost, Leland Bost, and A. T. Bost. Survivors include his daughters, Ella Johnson, Mary Ellen Bostick and husband, John, April Carson, and Ena Bichsel and husband, Shawn; sisters, Irene Whelan and Mary Niccum; six grandchildren, Ashley Brie Ann Johnson, Kayla Beecher and husband, Josh, Kress Carson, Taylor Shimek, Hailey Forbes, and Hayden Ellis Baldwin; a great grandson, Kreed Beecher; and his ex-wife, Ellie Bost.
