Elizabeth "Beth" Comerford, 55, of Canyon, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Freedom Fellowship Church with Darren Dye, officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 27 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Brooks Chapel.
Beth was born September 24, 1966 at the F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming to John and Alice Simon.
Beth has lived in the Canyon community since 1984. She was a computer programmer for BSA, Seamens, and McKesson. She married Kevin Comerford on May 24, 2003.
Beth endured two types of cancer along with multiple sclerosis, but she never stopped fighting. She was a strong Christian and a woman of great faith. She served her family selflessly.
Raising her son, Garrett, was her most treasure accomplishment.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Simon and her first husband, Greg Spicer.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin Comerford; son, Garrett Comerford; mother, Alice Simon, brothers, John Simon, Jr. and David Simon, and grandmother, Grace Deridder.
The family suggests memorials be made to help others fight cancer through Freedom Fellowship Church, 55 Hunsley Rd., Canyon, TX 79015.
