Edwin Devenport

Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Dreamland Cemetery with his nephew, Rev. Jerry Huggins, officiating. Edwin "Pug" Devenport was born on November 5, 1924. He lived and worked on the Devenport farm almost his entire life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. C.S. Devenport and three sisters: Mattie Ruth Robinson, Charline Huggins and Verna Bailey. He is survived by three siblings: Farrell Devenport and wife, Debra, of Lubbock, Margaret Maddox, of Neveda, and Katie Stone and husband, C.B., of Canyon; and many nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials to Dreamland Cemetery, PO Box 38, Canyon, TX 79015.
