Earl Reynolds

Earl Reynolds, 90, of Amarillo, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2020 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon with Dr. Gerry Lewis and Mike Kuhlman officiating.

Earl was born March 27, 1930, in Canyon, Texas to Edd Reynolds and Helen Britt Reynolds. He graduated from West Texas High School and received his bachelor's degree from West Texas State College. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Canyon.

Earl farmed and ranched most of his life in Randall County and was selected Randall County Farmer of the Year for 1993. He was on the Board of Directors for Mid- Plains Rural Telephone Co-op for over 40 years, a member of the Randall County Sheriff's Posse and served on the board of Consumers Supply, the Co-op in Canyon. He was on the Rodeo Team at W. T. and was the 1950 CNFR National Champion in Team Roping. Earl loved wood working, fishing and being with family. Most importantly, his family will remember him for his big heart and work ethic. He was preceded in death by his wife Edith Reynolds, brother Roy Reynolds, his parents and several cousins.

Survivors include his wife, Elsie Reynolds, his children Terry Reynolds Geer (Perry), and Gary Reynolds and his grandchildren, Cierra Geer Withkowski (Stephen) and Kalena Reynolds. Stepdaughter Eva Lewis (Gerry), grandchildren Tova Lewis Dad (Joe), Zeke Lewis (Allie) and four great grandchildren. Stepchildren Diana Hill Pack (Dale) and Kevin Hill, grandchildren Tulley and Tucker Hill.
