Drucilla Geisler

Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church in Amarillo with Brother Tommy Ewing, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Amarillo, Texas. Drucilla Maxwell Geisler passed from this life at age 90 at Ft. Worth. She was a lifelong resident of Amarillo until recent years. She was born on March 1, 1920 in McLean, Texas to Nugent and Annie Robinett Kunkel. She was employed as a secretary for Tenth Ave. United Methodist Church for many years. She was preceded in death by husband, Bob (G.R.) Maxwell and husband, Al Geisler, two children, Sherri Maxwell and Terry Maxwell, and son-in-law, Rev. Jim Powell. She is survived by a son, Jimmy Maxwell and wife, Doris and a daughter, Paula Powell, all of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Ross Maxwell and wife, Angie, Michelle Grass and husband, Randy, Randy Powell, and Nick Maxwell; great grandchildren, Candice, Justin, Seth, Faith, and Kurt; and three step children, Norma Otwell, Rodney Geisler, Sharon Doggett and their families. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church, 1016 S. Roberts St., Amarillo, Texas 79102.
