Dorothy Timmons

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 25, 2010 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Amarillo with Rev. Perry Hunsaker, Associate Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Dorothy Timmons was born on November 4, 1917 in Amarillo to John and Eula Lionberger Walters. She married Ed A. Timmons in Amarillo on August 15, 1941, and he preceded her in death in 1977. She was a charter member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Francie Pittman, of Canyon; a son, Rick Timmons, of Amarillo; a sister, Florine Dennis, of Amarillo; four grandchildren, Jennifer Ward, of Amarillo, Michele Taylor, of Amarillo, Beth Pittman, of North Carolina, and Eric Pittman, of Amarillo; and four great grandchildren. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorials be to Another Chance House, 209 S. Jackson, Amarillo, Texas 79101.
