Donna Kuhnert

Donna Kuhnert, 80, of Amarillo died Thursday, February 16, 2017 in Amarillo. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Brooks Chapel. Donna was born August 25, 1936 in Atchison, Kansas to Charles and Maudie Hollands Congrove. She married Carl Kuhnert on August 30, 1953. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, on July 29, 1985; a grandson, Charles Randolph Kuhnert on November 14, 1983; and a great grandson, Jackson Charles Clawson on September 22, 2004. Survivors include her daughter, Sheryl Barron of Cypress; son, Charles Kuhnert and wife, Valerie of Amarillo; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Crown of Texas Hospice Foundation, 5211 SW 9th, Suite 100, Amarillo, TX 79106.
