Don Sweet

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 1, 2011 at Brooks Chapel with Dale Moreland, Associate Pastor, The Church at Quail Creek, officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 31, 2011 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Brooks Chapel. Burial will be at Dreamland Cemetery. Don Sweet was born on July 16, 1965 in Pampa, Texas. He graduated from Tascosa High School and married Melanie Watkins in 1990 in Amarillo, Texas. He worked at J. Lee Milligan and loved to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Viola and Archie Bullard, and Orion and Mildred Sweet. Survivors include his wife, Melanie and daughter, Lindsey, both of the home; sister, Dana Smith, of Canyon; mother, Donna Sweet, of Canyon; father, Kenneth Sweet, of Amarillo; and a very special friend, Ronnie Stanhope, of Palestine, Texas. The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
