Don Price

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 8, 2005 at Plum Creek Fellowship Church in Amarillo with Randall Ator, senior pastor, and Rev. Perry Hunsaker, associate pastor of St. Paul"s United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Boys Ranch Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, September 7 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Brooks Chapel in Canyon. The family will be located at #3 Eagle Pass in Canyon. Don Price was born on June 26, 1942 at Levelland, Texas to D.L. and Gracie Price. He was raised at Levelland and married Ellen Griffith at Levelland on September 2, 1961. He worked at Boys Ranch for thirty-five years, retiring in July of 2004. He was a member of Plum Creek Fellowship Church and loved RVing. He was preceded in death by his father, D. L. Price, in 1994. Survivors include his wife, Ellen Price, of the home; one son, Jeff Price and wife, Tammy, of Brownfield, TX; one daughter, Jenny Norris and husband, Bill, of Hot Springs, AR; his mother, Gracie Price, of Levelland, TX; one sister, Dannie Davis and husband, Jimmy, of Azle, TX; and four grandchildren, Callie, Cody, and Cade Price, of Brownfield, and Daniel Norris, of Hot Springs, AR. The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farley"s Boys Ranch, PO Box 1890, Amarillo, Texas 79174 or Plum Creek Fellowship Building Fund, 600 Tascosa Road, Amarillo, Texas 79124.
