Dolly Weaver

Dolly Weaver, 99, of Canyon, died Wednesday, August 8, 2002 in Amarillo. Services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 29, 2002 in Brooks Chapel with Rev. Paul Dunn, pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, officiating. Services will also be held on Friday, August 30 in Tidwell Baptist Church with Wendell Weaver officiating. Burial will be in TidwellCemetery, Greenville, Texas. Mrs. Weaver was born on August 17, 1903 to David and Alzadia (Finley) Beaty in Oklahoma Indian Territory. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Weaver; son, Clayton R. Weaver; grandson, Ronnie Hunt; granddaughter, Deborah Kay Bryan; great-great grandson, Preston Hunt; five brothers; and six sisters. Survivors include two daugters, Alice Lorene Hunt, of Lake Palestine, TX, and Pansy N. Spain, of Lake St. Louis, MO; one son, Clifford Joe Weaver, of Canyon; ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and five great, great grandchildren.
