Dollie Kirkpatrick

Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at Dreamland Cemetery with Rev. Paul Richardson, pastor of Rockwell Road Baptist Church, officiating. Dollie Kirkpatrick was born on June 7, 1913 in Princeton, Texas to Sylvester and Lilly Pierce Evans. She attended Meadow Public School and married L. A. Fleming in 1937. She later married Walter W. Kirkpatrick in 1944. She was the nursery supervisor for First United Methodist Church for 32 years. She also worked at Canyon Cleaners and WTSU cafeteria. She was a member of the Rebecca Sunday School Class at the First Baptist Church and the Historical Commission. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Kirkpatrick, six brothers, and five sisters. Survivors include one son, Richard D. Flemming, and wife, Alvadee, of Canyon; three grandchildren, Damon Fleming, of Vegiata, NM, Dana Stone, of Pampa, and Cale Fleming, of Canyon; four great grandchildren; one great great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
