Destiny Nicole Blake, 31, of Amarillo, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. Memorial services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, August 3, 2020 at HIS Church in Amarillo with Pastor Brian Gibson officiating.
Destiny was born on June 29, 1989 in Amarillo. She attended Amarillo College and Galveston College. She loved volleyball, basketball, music and reading. Destiny was outgoing and enjoyed making people laugh with her humorous personality. She had a lovely heart, was passionate, and had a special tenderness toward others. She will be lovingly remembered for her vibrant smile that would light up the room and her compassion for people.
Destiny was preceded in death by her grandmother, Jaunita Blake. Survivors include her parents, Ron and Lisa Blake; her daughter, Kenzlee; her son, Johnny; four sisters, Haley Nelson, Addie Walsh, Crystal Baker, and Jessica Mendoza; grandmother, Juanita Ward; grandfather, Morris Parker; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent to Martha's Home, 1204 SW 18th Avenue, Amarillo, TX 79102 or Downtown Women's Center, 812 SW 10th, Amarillo, TX 79101. Or if you would like to send a memorial donation, a Benefit Account for Destiny Blake has been set up at Education Credit Union.
